• 08/2007 until now: I work for TECNIMONT, engineering society based in Milan. It is the parent company of an international industrial group which provides an integrated system of services and works in four sectors: chemicals and petrochemicals, oil & gas, power and infrastructure and civil engineering. The Group, with a presence in about 50 countries and 4 continents, currently owns 34 subsidiaries, 18 of which are located in Italy and 16 abroad, and can rely on a workforce of circa 3800 employees, of whom more than 2100 are located overseas.
I work in the MACHINERY DEPARTMENT. My job can be resumed in the following interconnected phases:
Preparing technical specification and material requisition; keep direct contact with Vendors and doing the technical evaluation; manage all the documentation coming from Vendor. There is a daily cooperation with all the internal departments (mainly electric, process, civil and instrumentation). Now I am working for a low density polyethylene plant. I used English language every day.
My gross salary is now 34.000 euro per year

• 07/2004 to 05/2007: I’ve worked for MATTEI in Vimodrone (Milan), leader for the planning and producing of the rotary vane compressors.
I was Project Engineer and I followed all the project during the planning & building’s stage and I also daily followed the assembling in the workshop. I used to have a strong collaboration with the mechanical designers that worked with CATIA V5 and with the Research & Development department.
I was also responsible for the planning of all accessories of the compressors (such as filters, separator, cooling-system….).

• 01/2003 to 06/2004: I’ve worked for ALSTOM POWER in the headquarter of Milan as Junior Performance Engineer and my job dealt with the planning of HRSG (Heat recovery steam generator) for thermoelectric power station. I had to calculate temperature and pressure of the pipelines and choosing the relevant pumps and valves. I kept the contact with some Vendors and I managed the documentation.

H I G H S C H O O L
High school certificate in 1996 specializing in scientific subjects in a pilot school of Cologno Monzese (Milan). I studied English and French.

U N I V E R S I T Y
I enrolled in Politecnico of Milan in 1997 and I graduated in Mechanical Engineering (specialization in Power) on the 14th october,2002 with 86/100.
Characteristic exams are: 2/4 Stroke Engine; Combustion and Gas; Fluid Mechanic; Sources of Alternative Energy; Conversion of Energy.
I’ve done my thesis at the Department of Power Engineering (where I’ve worked for a short period) within the bi-phase fluid dynamics about the reduction of pressure through horizontal pipeline, using high viscosity oil and water.

• I speak English very fluently, even for the understanding, reading and writing (TOEFL certificate and 4 holidays-school in England).
• I also speak French but at lower level than English.


I N T E R E S T S A N D H O B B I E S
I generally love all kind of sports but mainly football and tennis; I’m keen on model-making and coin collecting. My favourite passion is motorbike. I also like reading, mainly authors of 19th century and the Shakesperian theatre. I love travelling and knowing foreign people and cultures; in fact in the last years I’ve visited almost all Europe and I’ve done a couple of trips in Asia and South America.
No problem to work abroad or short transfers.
