Position: Piping Engineer
Working as a representative of BP Co. as a Piping Engineer on Saqqara Onshore Reception & Treatment Facilities Project.
Scope of work: (Ras Shukair)
Follow up the daily progress of the contractor (Petrojet) in the branch of piping to ensure that the contractor follow up the design, specifications and procedures.
Issue the required material for erection like valves, gaskets, stud bolts …etc.
Check the finished loops and prepare the punch list to give a release for hydrotest.
Follow up the hydrostatic test progress and check the results.
Scope of work: (Suez Fabrication Workshop)
Follow the daily productivity of the workshop for each material type (C.S, Low-temperature, SS and Duplex)
Follow up the site requirements according to the priority.
Arrange for transferring spools from Suez to Ras Shukair.

Working as a representative of BP Co. as a field engineer with the offshore team in Construction of Offshore 16” multiphase pipeline and umbilical cable. (Saqqara Project)
May 2004 till November 2006:

Position: Site Manager
Working as Site Manager in the field of Piping Construction Projects, Tanks Construction projects, and Maintenance Projects for the Following Projects:
Project: PMP Water Disposal and Drainage Facilities Project in Kuwait
Owner: Joint Operation (a joint venture between Kuwait Oil Co. and Texaco Co.)
Main Contractor: Arabi for equipment and Technology "Arabi Enertech").
Sub-Contractor: Egyptian Maintenance Co.
The project is a plant consists of new 270 pipelines with different diameters which will connect between the new drainage facilities and the existing facilities like crude oil tanks, separators, and pumps.
My scope of work is a site manager for welding of 18500 Diameter Inches using qualified welders.

Graduation Project:
Study & Enhance the Performance of Heat Exchangers with Several Types of Fins

Assists the Piping Superintendent and Lead Piping Engineer in solving piping problems.
Provides technical assistance to the Piping Superintendent, Site Superintendent and Lead Piping Engineer and keeps them informed on matters relating to quality control.
Monitors the offsite spool fabrication to coordinate the proper priority flow of spools to the site, also maintains updated delivery schedules from the fabricator.
Performs inspections of all piping work in progress on a continuing basis, witnesses tests and completes final P&ID check.
Perform dimension check and quantities.
Establish with the contractors, subcontractors, procedures on testing, installation and turnover of the various systems, aware of contractors and subcontractor priorities for piping installation.
Verifies installed quantities reported by the Subcontractors.
Monitors contractors and subcontractor welding operations, including: material control, welder qualification, weld quality, records maintenance, NDE, and heat treatment.
Supervision on construction and installation of oil and gas facilities.
Conduct construction progress meetings, report writing and monitoring of work progress.
Construction supervision of onshore oil & gas activities.
Apply the Codes & Standards and familiarity with permit to work systems.
Check the test packages, against the approved P&ID.
Check the punch list for the different loops according to the project specifications.
