Instrumental and control engineer "Abu-Sultan Power station:
600 Mw 4 units each unit consist of :
1-Fossil Boiler water tube with eight burners that could be burnt by Gas or No. 6 oil (Mazout) as alternative fuel.
2-GE three stage Turbine that has been worked on steam of 126 kg/cm² and 510ºC .
3-GE Generator 3000 rpm (50Hz), 15 Kv.
4-Main Transformer (15/220) Kv.
5-Switch yard ( output of the station ) six transmission lines :
·Two lines for Ismailia city 220 Kv.
·Two lines for 10 of Ramadan city 220Kv.
·Two lines for Suez 220 Kv.
6-Other systems and facilities :
· Feed water pumps.
·Condensate pumps.
·Cooling water system.
·Turbine lubrication bearing system.
·Hydraulic system.
·Air compressor system.
·soot blower system.
# Maintain the different of instrumentation :
·Electronics transmitters& controllers microprocessor based(Level,Pressure,Flow,Temperature ).
·Pneumatic Transducer & controllers ( Level, Pressure, Flow , Temperature).
·Foxboro transmitters ( Level , Pressure , Flow , Temperature ).
·Honeywell smart transmitter.

·Adjusting the air pressure on the guns of mazout and solar.
·Detecting the limit switch of the valves of gas and mazout and solar.
·Measuring the voltages of the terminals of scanners and detect the fault.
2- Distributed control system ( DCS ) provided by Honeywell , and DCS consist of three level :
І- Local control area (LCN) that user interface console (GUS).
ΙΙ- Universal control area ( UCN ) relay room ( cabinet ) that contain all
Communication modules , gateways and all buses.
ΙΙΙ- Field terminal area ( FTA ) that the field instrumentation device and
Controllers .
3- Electronics & pneumatic control system ( P, PI , PID ) .
4- Read drawing( sama, motor, Network ) solving many Trouble shootings.
