Electrical Engineer/Supervisor with 9 years hands on experience

Seeking for a position there I can implement my ideas learned from past experience, in a profitable manner to the company.

 Presently working as Electrical supervisor in Bahwan Engineering Co. LLC, Sultanate of Oman, for our prestigious client Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) (for contract no. C31/0486 – Cleaning and maintenance of HV equipments) from 16.04.07 onwards.

• Responsibilities include preventive maintenance of Power Transformers, HV Circuit Breakers, and Isolators etc.
• Planning and keeping records of Maintenance of all HV equipments in PDO.
• And also experienced in administrative works.

 From February 2005 to March 2007 worked as Erection Engineer, for Furnace and Foundry Equipment Company, Mumbai (FAFECO), at Nuclear power plant construction project, Kaiga-3&4, Karnataka,

• Experienced in erection, testing, commissioning and maintenence of EOT cranes, gantry cranes and under slung cranes of more than 15 cranes at various ranges from 5 to 80/20 ton capacity with VVVF drive controlled and conventional system, including total electrification of cranes.
• Experienced in VVVF drive parameter settings (Schneider- Altiver 28, Altiver 31 and Altiver 58; Allen Bradley- Powerflex 40 and Powerflex 700).
• Experienced in reading electrical drawings.

 Worked as Sub-Engineer for Kerala State Electricity Board, on
Contract basis for three years, from December 1, 2001 to January 31, 2005.

• Responsibilities included breakdown and preventive maintenance works of 66 KV and 110 KV transmission lines.

• Experienced in office administration.

 Worked as Overseer for Kerala State Electricity Board, on contract
basis for 16 months, from June 5, 2000 to November 30, 2001.

• Responsibilities included construction, repair and maintenance of EHV transmission lines.

 Worked as Electrical Apprentice at Cannanore Spinning &Weaving Mills, Mahe under National Textile Corporation for six months, from September 15, 1999 to March 14, 2000.

• Responsibilities included maintenance of circuit breakers, transformers, industrial power distribution systems, including HT and LT cable works.

EDUCATION:

S.S.L.C. with 67% from Government Boys High School, Pallur, Mahe (1995 April.)

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION:

Completed three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Government Polytechnic, Kannur, Kerala under Kerala State Board of Technical Education, with 65% (1999 April.).

COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE:

Completed Diploma in Computer Applications from Silicon Info Systems, Thalassery, under ARCS INFOTECH, Banglore. (2001 April)
