•Assigned as a major Protection Signalling and Communication Design Engineer. The activities performed are as described below:

1.In charge of project technical clarifications and design implementation of the following equipments:

Fiber Optic Equipment - SDH (Surpass hiT 7060).
Data Voice Multiplexer – MUX
Protection Signaling Equipment – SWT3000
Power Link Carrier Equipment – PLC.


2.Involved in designing of Protection Signaling Equipment in two of the biggest projects (PP9 & PP10) in the central region of the kingdom.

3.Assigned as a Lead Engineer for Site Survey in PP9 Project.

4.Involved in designing of Protection Signaling and Communication Panels of more than 10 projects in the western region of the kingdom such as Rabigh Power Plant, King Abdallah University, and Yanbu Extension.

5.Involved in designing some of the Control Panels such as Transducer, Load Shedding, Energy Metering, Data Retrieval, and Alarm Panels.

Hardware and Software.

The thesis has been accepted in an international conference on computer and information science and engineering in Barcelona, Spain - October 2006. In addition, a journal paper of the thesis has been prepared and sent to an international electronic journal (Science Direct-Power Sources Section) for publication.
