Project Engineer

A qualified engineer with an exceptional more than 8 years track record in oil and gas industry, specializing in project management and project engineering, seeking a senior engineer position with a dynamic organization.

Project Management
• Responsible for overall management of projects from conception to completion.
• Ensure all operations are undertaken in a safe manner in accordance with law and project company HSE policy
• Liaison with and supervision of Q.A. staff to ensure project quality objectives are attained.
• Management of project team functions.
• Supervision and co-ordination of multiple vendors.
• Effect close liaisons with client reps.
• Control and direction of a multi-disciplinary, multi-national workforce.
• Procedure review and revision if required, in conjunction with Project Manager.
• Review project programme and update on a regular basis.

Project Engineering
• Establishment and responsibility for project communications with client, sub-vendors.
• Development and review project planning and programming.
• Preparation of weekly and monthly reports to client and senior management.
• Co-ordination and preparation of project close out reports.
Quality:
• Preparation, development and review of project quality plans.
• Compliance with corporate Quality Management Systems.
• Ensure compliance with client quality objectives Health and Safety:
• Compliance with corporate, Health and Safety management systems.

Subcontracts:
• Co-ordination of all offsite related matters, subvendors.
• Review of material / subcontract procurement
and delivery schedules and updates.

Contractual / Commercial:
• Ensure project team has a clear understanding of contract and applicable obligations.
• Close liaison with Q.S. / Commercial Management.
• Co-ordinate and assist Q.S. in producing claims and initiate negotiations with client.
• Review variation schedules and assess entitlement and income

Construction Management

Pipeline:
• Pipeline Maintenance Services such as Intelligent Pigging, Riser Inspection, Pig Trap Maintenance,
• Pipeline installation operations
• Hydrostatic pressure testing of pipelines.
• Leak testing of pipelines.

Construction:
• Coordinate and supervise the execution of preparatory works and construction activities, including materials procurement, work-packing, onshore fabrication, removal, installation, blasting and painting and hook-up

1. Work in Shell Malaysia from August 2013 until now as Lead Pipeline Commissioning Engineer for Malaysia first Deepwater Project Gumusut Kakap.
Responsible for contract preparation, technical and commercial evaluation, planning and scheduling for commissioning.

2. Work for Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd in 2011 until 2013 as Pipeline Project Engineer. Responsible for Intelligent Pigging project in Petronas Sarawak operation for 5 years ahead.
Responsible for contract preparation, technical and commercial evaluation, budget preparation, planning and scheduling for long term and short term.
Responsible for integrity assessment for pipelines after Intelligent Pigging completion.
Responsbile to present integrity reports to Petronas stakeholders.
