• Playing the Area operations manager role. Responsibilities vary from managing day-to-day operations challenges, up to ensuring achievement of marketing fiscal targets.
• Responsible for the preparation of business plans for the business unit in terms of profit and loss planning, headcount, sales volumes, and balance sheet; all including strategies and metrics.
• Assisting regional marketing manager with analysis of competitive and past information with the objective of setting direction for future business opportunities
• Providing specific operational and technical input to operational facilities and new projects in the area.
• Closely coordinate with partners and governmental authorities in Egypt to resolve business obstacles, explore new business developments opportunities, and secure current business needs.
• Negotiating competitive rates with vendors for business necessities (equipments, contract materials), act as a procurement interface.
• Responsible for the business unit SOX (internal Auditing System) testing/compliance.
• Coordinating with Joint venture (Exxon, Misr PC, & BP) for meeting CVX compliance requirements such as (CVX Internal Audits, Security reviews , Rebicoff etc)
• Develop and review pricing strategies on the basis of market performance, market trends and business objectives.
