Materials & Logistics Engineer

Warehouse & Logistics Management
•Prepare Receipt notes for Cairn Materials using SAP (MM) as an end user.
•Prepare and Issue the Dispatch Vouchers for Cairn Materials to Larsen & Toubro Ltd.
•Produce and post daily/weekly/monthly reports on warehouse activities.
•Develop, implement and maintain necessary reports for materials.
•Liaising with regulatory bodies for smooth movement of materials while adhering to the safety requirements.
•Handling various Oil and Gas Construction Materials like Piping, Pipelines, Steam and Power generation system packages for Mangala Project, Rajasthan Base.
•Monitoring logistics operations and liaising with respective authorities viz.,cost and procurement, finance for smooth operations.
•Adhering to statutory regulations and organizational standards for the maintenance of safety inside the plant during all routine and especially critical/hazardous operations.
Materials Management
•Maintain the Material Inventory of about 500 items including Drilling equipment, Cementing and Mud chemicals of Shore Base.
•Prepare Receipts / Issue notes for RIL and Contractor Materials using
SAP (MM) as an end user. Prepare all types of Material Reports by using VSIT
in MS Access.
•Develop, implement and maintain necessary reports for materials like receipts, dispatches in Shore Base in line with statutory requirements.
•Ensured nil material accounting discrepancies, SAP postings and cycle counting of materials including Internal audits.
•Planning, identification, preparation and logistics of material for drilling as per Well Programme.
•Confers with Material Manager regarding material requisition quantities, description and technical specifications etc.
•Maintaining records and preparation of reports on materials for Service companies.
Logistics Management
•Land Logistics – Arranged transportation for materials to other shore bases
on rig moves to different locations/blocks.
•Arrange custom clearance, liaise with service contractors and shipping agents, organizing transportation for re-export/repair facilities.
•Marine Logistics - Managed cargo operations (includes deck cargo and dry bulk material, fuel, base oil, mud and brine) at the jetty/port (Shore Base) in coordination with customs, port authorities, the rig Company man as well as the warehouse/service provider and land transport dispatchers.
