Position: Project Engineer
(Feb 2003 – May 2005)
Responsibilities:
- Review of complete scope of work and construction drawings associated with the projects.
- Provide accurate inputs to the planning department for generation of work programme (Primavera).
- Obtain quotations from suppliers for various items and technical / commercial evaluation of the same to ensure compliance with project requirement.
- Liaise with subcontractors (Civil, Fire Alarm and Mechanical) and ensure timely completion of work.
- Submission of design drawings, material submittals and progress reports to Client / Consultant and obtain approvals.
- Coordinate with the procurement department to place purchase orders on various suppliers / subcontractors.
- Follow up with suppliers / subcontractors and ensure timely delivery as per project requirement.
- Check quality of material upon arrival at site.
- Coordinate the site construction activities and organize the required labor, plant / machinery and material.
- Report to the Project Manager on a daily basis, provide progress updates and highlight any problems foreseen.
- Attend weekly progress meetings with Client / Consultant.
- Provide inputs to the accounts department in order to prepare monthly invoices.

Position: Estimation Engineer
(June 2005 to December 2007)

Position: Senior Estimation Engineer
(January 2008 till date)
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 2 nos. electrical engineers, 1 no. instrumentation engineer and 1 no. mechanical engineer.
- Review and Compile MEP tenders (technical and commercial) and ensure compliance with scope and specifications.
- Report to the Estimation HOD and Managing Director to finalize the markup and profit.
- Attend Post Tender Meetings and finalize contracts.
- Prepare Project Budgets and transfer the projects to site execution team.
- Assist the execution team in critical issues including contractual, commercial and resource allocation.

- Currently pursuing MBA (Finance and Operations) at S P Jain University in Dubai.

- Was sent to Austria to witness Factory Inspection Tests on KAESER Compressor System. Coordinated all the procedures between the Client, M/s TRANSCO and equipment supplier.
- Accompanied the Managing Director of Danway to Japan to negotiate, finalize and sign a Contract with M/s FUJI (Project – Rectifier Transformer Erection in EMAL).
