Working as an assistant superintendent at
(EDC) Egyptian Drilling Company (an affiliate of Maersk Contractors)

My responsibilities are:-

1- Supervise three workover rigs (87, 88, 89) working with Khalda Petroleum co.
2- Put the budget for the rigs and cost control it during the year.
3- Plan the schedule for the maintenance.
4- Communicate with (KPC) Khalda Petroleum company’s supervisors.
5- Conduct safety meetings with the rig’s crew.

Joined the Special Drilling Trainee program at
(EDC) Egyptian Drilling Company (an affiliate of Maersk Contractors)

after being chosen from over 400 candidates, the program will take approximately two years and consists of theoretical training in the EDC Training Center combined with practical training on various offshore and land rigs working as a part of the drilling crew participating in its daily activity and learning everything about drilling, after which obtaining the IWCF certificate and becoming Professional Driller.
Training courses:
1. Safety, H2S, Firefighting and First aid.
2. Basic Rig Mathematics.
3. Basic Drilling Practice.
