SR.MECHANICAL PROJECT ENGINEER

• To be part of management where decision making and involvement in the day to day activities along with developing next generation engineers by giving out the knowledge gained out of 32 years of industrial experience.

• In the technical department of the renowned oil refinery handling turn around and routine projects, including concept, planning & scheduling, vendor selection, technical parameters, negotiations and project supervision. Worked with consultants like Foster Wheeler, Sulzer, Klosch etc. projects like tray replacement of towers, packings, fuel gas piping, heat exchangers and reboilers,waste heat boilers of Fluidised catalytic cracking plant ,amine dozing and main crude pumps of atmospheric and vacuum distillation plant etc.

• Heavy Fabrication to international standards. Carried out design supervision, fabrication, sand blasting to SA21/2, Painting and erection with cladding of around 25000 Sq.mtrs of Industrial sheds at Ras al Khaimah, U.A.E. for Link Middle East LLC, Dubai. The work was carried out in 1 year period and got appreciation and special bonus from the company.

• Erection of heavy structures,equipment and auxiliaries of Thermal , Steel and Cement Sectors.Worked as Project Manager in many thermal stations like Nashik, Bhusaval, Koradi,Chandrapur and Khaperkheda of M.S.E.B; Ukai of G.E.B, Ramagundam of NTPC,Kothagudem and Vijayavada of APSEB, Swarnarekha Hydel of B.S.E.B and many more.

• Executed complete chemical plant with SS316L fabrication of vessels and piping , utilities like Boilers, thermopacks, chillers,D.M.Water plant,Softners and entire plant piping in M.S; S.S and allied material.Fabricated vertical storage tank as per API650/620.

• Executed fabrication and erection of Submerged Arc Furnace for Ferro-Manganese production (5MW) for Manganese Ore India Ltd,Balaghat.The plant was completely PLC controlled and electrodes(3x8MT) were hydraulically operated.The raw material handling was also PLC controlled with charge,flux etc weighed automatically and taken to the furnace top through articulated trolley.

• Executed many large pumping projects for Jyoti Limited. CW pumps were of 250000LPM capacity, motorised delivery valve(2.5MT),geared suction gate valves(8 MT), Stainless Steel Mixed flow impellors(2MT) and entire vertical pump assembly 35 T. Executed 20 such plants for various Thermal Power Stations in India as well as smaller pumping sets for hydel stations.Also installed one micro hydel project(2MW) at Daporijo Arunachal Pradesh.
