Instrumentation and Control engineer

I am an adaptable, innovative and enthusiastic individual who is keen to expand my expertise in new concept development, simulation and validation with a forward thinking petrochemical company.

My Job duties included:

• Wide experience with Conventional / Smart(HART ) field Instruments manufactured by Rosemount, Yokogawa, ABB, E&H, Emerson, Masoneilan, Valtek and ASCO (Mass flow, Magnetic, vortex, turbine meters; control valves, on-off ball / butterfly valves, diverter valves, etc…
• Install, calibrate and test different field switches like proximity, limit switch, flow, level temperature and pressure switches, witch etc.
• Maintain steam turbine (Woodward), Centrifugal compressors and Extruder (Coperion) and error diagnostics.

• Good knowledge of PLC (PCS7 based WINCC, Step5, S7-400, LOGO and Allen Bradley) and batch sequence controller.
• Basic TMR (Triple module redundant) ICS system maintenance.

Achievements
 Successfully connected our control system with other sites (OSBL) to insure accurate control of the quality and quantity of the feeding materials.
 Designed loop drawings and cable routing as well as the hook-up and I/O list of all instruments used for TWO added Jet tanks in storage area.
 Managed and controlled (planning .execution and close up) the project regarding the Instrumentation activities. It was completed on date successfully.
 Successfully revised and accepted the TWO years spare parts and organizing the warehouse using the Shell standard coding CMT.
 Designed the lighting distribution plan of ELAB entrance gate
My Job duties included:

As an E&I site engineer:
In charge for the supervision / construction of ELAB site this includes:
1) Design, modify piping and instrumentation drawings, block diagram, location plan, wiring diagrams, instrument loop diagrams, Hook-up drawings, I/O database
2) Installation and calibration and perform complete loop checking of all field instruments; pressure, level, temperature and control valves and PRV etc...
3) Implementation and startup for DCS – Yokogawa CS 3000,ESD –HIMA- system
4) Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and start up experience
