Material Controller

• Implement Warehouse and Site stores procedure effectively
• Controlling of all Shipments and receiving of the materials with the coordination of Procurement department
• Organizing the warehouse area and manpower as per the Shipment schedule.
• Monitor availability of all materials and give feed back timely feedback to Planning Engineer / Construction Manager / project Manager
• Liaise with the Engineer (Planning) for any non-availability of materials to take proper action
• Ensure effective administration and Management of the customer supplied products
• Comply with the QA / QC Procedures / QC plans as applicable
• Fulfill storage handling and maintain requirements of materials under custody
• Receipt and Issue of Materials
• Preservation of materials in good condition
• Arrangement of materials on the correct location
• Proper usage of Integrated Material Management System
• Arrange for Inspection
• Preparation of Rejection Report
• Accounting of Materials
• Stock verification
• Preparation of Inventory Report
• Carry out receiving inspection in coordination with QA / QC Engineers / Discipline supervisors
• Verify periodically the condition / quality of materials in store in coordination with the QA / QC inspector and maintain records
• Ensure effective maintenance of receipt and issue of materials record
• Material requisition & collection of material
• Follow up material requisition raised for procurement
• Verify the delivery documents accompanying the materials for description of items and compare the same with reference to the purchase order/Material requisition copy available at the site.
• Upon unloading the materials in coordination with the QA/QC Inspector or discipline supervisor shall carry out verification of the material to ensure conformance to specified requirements.
• The status of inspection (Accepted / Rejected or otherwise) shall be indicated on the delivery note.
• Proper control of the manpower
• Proper control of the entire activities of the Warehouse/Stores
• Proper usage of the safety measures to meet the targets.
