Duties & Responsibilities:
 Head of procurement department,responsible on attending daily project’s meeting.
 Receives and reviews Purchase Requisition, Direct and Indirect materials.(Building/Engineering Materials e.g. structural,pipes & fittings,machines, equipment,consumables,office furniture, and any projects material requirement)
 Sourcing for suppliers(which is not in Vendor’s database) setting –up and sending –out bid requests. Responsible on planning and organising the selection of suppliers.
 Coordination with Project Engineer’s on confirmation and checking of materials/equipment’s specification.
 Review and prepare comparison report for the suppliers who have given good competitive price. Negotiating contractual agreements with suppliers committing to ensure the procurement of high quality materials at optimum cost.
 Full coordination with contractors and sub-contractors,Client,Project Manager and other related departments.
 Raising Purchase Order
 Expediting deliveries and particulars.
 Delivery Order / Note log sheet updating to verify that the orders have been inspected and received in a given delivery time, with coordination with Materials Department, QA/QC and Site In-charge.
 Generating Monthly Reports.(e.g.Equipment Status Report,Expediting Report,Payment Forecast,PO Reports.)
