- 7 years experience in Saudi Electricity Co. as a Steam Power Plant Operator.
- Worked as a steam power plant operator dealing with Gas\ Oil fueled boiler ( Riley Stoker Type) Boiler is natural circulation (box type) boiler, horizontal surface with 1800 PSIG superheater outlet pressure and superheater\reheater outlet design of 950 degree Fahrenheit. Produce 2,850,000 pounds\hour of superheated and reheat steam to power individual Westinghouse 400 MW, 3 casing tandem compounds, double-flow exhaust, condensing reheat turbine which consists of high pressure, intermediate pressure and low pressure element that supplies electric power to the Sceco grid. The turbine generator is operated at 3600 RPM with 2.0 inches mercury back pressure. The main generator has 2 poles, 3600 RPM rotor. The generator is rated at 460 MVA, 0.90 power factor and 0.58 short circuit ration and generate 24 KV, three phase, 60 Hz from wye-connected generator stator. The generator is hydrogen cooled at 60 PSI.
- Worked with SIEMENS DCS System (Teleperm-xp OM 650) to monitor, control and safe start up or shut down for the unit.
- Recently , I'm working as a Control Room Operator in Ghazlan Power Plant Units 1-4.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Operator/Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the generators, steam turbines and control systems.
- Operate controls during start-up, shutdown, normal, and emergency operations. Maintain operational logs/records.
- Develops a clear understanding of all plant processes and takes proper actions when problems are discovered.
- Prepares equipment for service after repairs are complete.
- Required to perform or assist with instrumentation and controls and mechanical and electrical maintenance, including troubleshooting, calibration, installation and repair.
- Troubleshoots, repairs, and calibrates equipment such as transmitters, alarm systems, monitoring and recording equipment, phone/public address systems, pressure switches, solenoid valves, and limit switches.
- Required to operate and maintain the plant's water treatment systems, waste treatment systems and associated equipment. Responds to unit trips and abnormal operating conditions.
- Ensures strict adherence to safety, health and environmental procedures as they relate to plant operations and maintenance.
- Routinely performs chemistry lab functions such as sampling, measurement of water quality, and instrument calibrations.
- Accountable for knowing and adhering to all station safety procedures including tag out and personal protective equipment.
