• Review of Welding Procedure and Welder Qualifications.
• Review of NDT testing Procedures, Personal and Activity Start- Up.
• Start of Fabrication and welding activities.
• Fit up Inspection: Joint Location as per Drawing, Weld preparation with approved Procedure, Cleanliness, Alignment, Material Grade and Rating, Weld identification.
• In - process Monitoring: Maintaining pre-heat and inter-pass temp.in accordance with WPS,Controlling of welding Consumables, Welder Qualifications, Equipment Calibration and welding parameters detailed in WPS
• Final visual inspection: Weld Profile is adequate and acceptable and joint cleanliness for Surface irregularities.
• Selection of Points for NDT.
• RTFI by Client certified Interpreters.
• Monitoring of Post Weld Heat Treatment and Hardness Testing
• Review and study the project specification requirement and engineering requirement.
• Establish the field Quality Control Procedure which shall be instructed to ensure that the inspection requirements identified within the relevant ITP/ QCPs are implemented on the project and the resulting Quality Documents are produced and recorded.
• Ensuring that the requirement of Quality assurance are implemented and adhered to during the course of the project.
• Coordinate with sub-contractor and client’s representative for daily & routine inspection activities.
• Witness inspection to all type of testing as instructed ensuring that the Testing Method, Inspection Methods and acceptable criteria are in accordance with agreed procedure and standards
• Review /Interpret radiography and other non destructive examination for weld joints and threaded joints control NDE.
• Final Inspection reinstatement and completion of test packages adding all inspection records and test reports.
• Review all necessary Documents and Quality Control Records for adequacy and verify results & prepare for turnover.
• Monitoring piping fabrication work, fit-up, welding and erection and coordinate and assure that construction activities effecting safety and quality are compliance with project requirements.
• Review and survey for all tie-in point location
