Project: Greenfield construction of world‘¦s largest Aluminum smelting Plant in form of Anode Baking Plant as well as Cast house. Qatalum is Joint Venture between hydro & Qatar Petroleum.
Nature of Work: Fata is specialist for construction of aluminum smelting plant & have vast experience for construction the same type of smelting plants. Fata is main EPC contractor for this project & have excellent engineering, project management & quality control background.
Roles & Responsibilities: Overall coordination with Supervision of QC inspectors for all discipline like Civil, Mech., electrical & Field inspection activity.
Mechanical Inspection:
Duration: Dec 2005 - Jun 2008 KUWAIT, Kuwait
Position: QC INSPECTOR (Reporting to Project manager)
Company: Heavy Engineering Industries & Shipbuilding Co. (HEISCO).
(1) Project: Erection of flow line & associated works & west Kuwait Area
Client: Kuwait Oil Company.
(2) Project: Replacement of 12 nos.offsite Pipelines in Old Refinery at MAA
Client: Kuwait National Petroleum Corporation.
Nature of Work: HEISCO is Best Prestigious Company in the field of oil field, Refinery, Petrochemical & Ship building, which make Design, fabrication & erection of pressure vessels, Tanks, Heat exchanges & Pressure Piping etc.
Roles & Responsibility:
„« Study of Piping & structural Drawings.
„« Material receiving Inspection & Traceability
„« Reviewing of ITPs, Procedures, Method statements & Test certificates.
„« Reviewing of WPS/PQR
„« Quality control with compliance of specific codes, standard & specification for welding & painting like ASME B31.3, API 1104, and ASME section II, section V, and section IX & paint manufacturers recommended procedures.
„« Conduct welder Qualification test
„« Scheduling & Inspection for NDT.
„« Fit-Up Inspection & weld visual Inspection
„« Reviewing of RT films.
„« Inspection for Pneumatic test/ Hydro test/ Blasting / Painting/ Wrapping Coating/ Holiday test etc.
„« Perform internal quality assurance audits.
„« Co-ordination with Client Inspection team.
„« Maintain QA/QC related Documentation.
