Working as Assistant Manager (Band – 4) from 25th Feb 2008.

In Genpact, I am working in Finance Centre of Excellence for Commercial Finance – GE client.

FUNCTIONAL
AREAS

a) Compliance of FAS 52 (Currency Translation) for all the GE businesses. End to end resolution of all the variance in terms of CTA between the oracle functionality and FAS 52 methodology. This is a monthly activity; however, quarterly and annual CTA activity is much more critical in terms providing management assertions regarding the financial impact on books of accounts because of CTA.
b) Working on Oracle new instance project. Under this, our objective is to ensure the correct data migration from Oracle old instance to new instance. Under this, my role is to ensure that the data is being migrated at correct exchange rate and there is no violation of FAS 52.
c) Compliance of FAS 115 for investments of various GE businesses as a part of Quarterly & Annual SEC reporting.

Worked as Finance coordinator in General Ledger Reconciliation Team - 10th Oct 2005 to 30th April 2007. Promoted as Finance Specialist (Expert Level) from 1st May 2007 and worked till 22nd Feb 2008.

FUNCTIONAL
AREAS

a) To ensure the preparation of GL reconciliation’s (Balance Sheet Accounts) on monthly basis.
b) To Work as mentor of the team.
c) To provide MIS to the management such as Aging analysis, outstanding items, performance Metrics of the team.
d) To Monitor quality of the work carried out by the team and ensure that the guidelines as prescribed for research and analysis of accounts are being adhered.
e) To escalate the issues of the team to the management and monitor them on regular intervals.
f) To provide Quarterly & Annual reports to CFR (Consolidated Financial Reporting Deptt) relating to various Balance Accounts for the purpose of 10Q / K SEC reporting and handling queries thereof.
g) To ensure that the process is SOX Compliant.
h) To Ensure Statutory Audit /Interim Audit for the process.
i) To Ensure that Agilent Accounts and Finance Manual and Procedures are duly followed (comply with US GAAP requirement).

Professional Qualification
CA (Inter) in May 2002, from The Institute of Chartered Accounts of India.
Academic Qualification
B.Com (Hons) from Hansraj College, Delhi University in May 1999 with 57.44%.
Higher Secondary in Commerce stream from C.B.S.E in 1996.
