Major Project: REFURBISHMENT OF FG MC CLINTOCK JACK-UP DRILLING RIG (CLIENT: TRANSOCEAN) – REFURBISHING INCLUDE REPLACEMENT OF ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENTS, OVERHAULING MOTORS, SWITCHGEARS, ACCOMMODATION UPGRADE, DRILL FLOOR UPGRADE.

Served as field construction support for the electrical installation works. Task includes material engineering of all electrical equipments such as power transition boxes, MCT, cables, light fixtures, etc. preparation of MCT schedule, cable schedule, interconnection diagram, MCCB sizing, & cable selection/sizing.

Major Project: CONSTRUCTION OF THREE (3) NOS. F&G SUPER M2 JACK-UP DRILLING RIG (CLIENT: SEAWOLF & KS ENERGY)

Responsibilities includes material engineering of electrical equipments such as generating MTO, preparation of material specification & technical bid evaluation, preparation of lighting layout & corresponding SLD, illumination design, load schedule of lighting panels, MCCB sizing, cable sizing, preparation of all cable schedules, monitoring & updation of MTO for top-up quantity, assisting lead engineer, and documentation for technical references.

Responsibilities includes the conduct of dynamic simulation and load flow studies using GE PSLF software including calculation, build-up & updation of system parameters, preparation of basecase and calculation of grid fault level using ASPEN Oneliner Software, and preparation of single line diagram using Autocad of 69/138kV Mindanao grid. Major studies undertaken are design of automatic load dropping scheme using ufr, stability study on automatic reclosing, relocation of power barges, load rejection simulation, design of special protection scheme, grid islanding n-1 contingency, line forecast studies, line configuration analysis, sizing of power transformer & capacitor bank, and analysis of major grid disturbance. Other tasks are installation/retrieval/analysis of power quality using LEM PQ, monitoring/scheduling of grid automatic load dropping scheme, calculation of monthly PF, field resetting of distance relays, OC relays, & ufr.
