Manage the day to day running of a remote camp

As a graduated, decorated, ex South African Army Officer, with recent experience in the camp, logistics, security and safety fields on remote mine sites in Central Asia I am a mature and competent manager. I am a strong organiser, motivator and team player with an established record of getting the job done efficiently and am highly skilled in areas requiring initiative and self motivation.

Particularly skilled in inter-cultural communication, I have a personal interest in languages, history and cultures. Multi tasked, and skilled as a people orientated, result and budget focused manager.
Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet usage.
Enjoying training as well as an effective trainer, with the ability to carry over facts and issues efficiently to all levels of employees, I communicate freely in English and Afrikaans, with a working knowledge of Russian and an understanding of French. I am also experienced in working with translators.

Course (1997) and was registered with the Security Officers board with an A-grading (1999). I have also completed the Investment in Excellence course in 1991, a Stress handling course in 1992 and several Vodacom cellular phone courses in 2001.

I am an extremely hardworking employee that is willing to go the extra mile for the employer, able to adapt to any situation and assimilate different local and corporate cultures without difficulty.
