Professional Experience
- Well-site operations geologists in Halliburton, in PDO fields from Feb/2007 to May/2008:
• Work at the drilling sites on a rotational basis. The job consists of coordinating all well-site geologic activities (including mud logging, LWD and wireline logging, and directional drilling services) to meet the objectives of well plans.
• Generate daily reports including drilling activities, lithologies encountered, hydrocarbon shows, and assignment of stratigraphic tops.
• Work closely with drilling supervisors and with office-based operations geology staff.
• Coordinate geologic services during key drilling activities such as selecting casing points, landing build-up sections, and geostearing lateral wells.
• Prepare a final well report that contains a well summary with discussions of stratigraphy and shows.
- Surface Data Logging (SDL) in Halliburton as Data Engineer, in oxy fields (Safa, Khamila, Wadi Latham) from May /2008 till now:
• Catching the cuttings and describing the lithologies and formations tops
• Monitor the drilling operations parameters, pressure.
• Test samples physically and chemistry.
• Generate daily geologist report including ascii files for drilling parameters, log with lithologies percentages and hydrocarbon shows and stratigraphic tops.
• Cooperate with all well-site activities including wireline logging, LWD, drilling crew and the client office.
• Prepare End of well report that composes of a well summary, general well data (include drilling and engineering summary and daily rig activity), geological summary (include geological describtions, discussions of stratigraphy and hydrocarbon shows and formation
