Civil Engineer Design

To obtain a challenging position in a fast-paced environment that will allow me to apply my expertise in structural engineering

I have more than 1 year’s experience in Structural engineering and have gained valuable technical and management skills from my past working experience.

In my current job at Fluor Daniel which is one of the leading petrochemical refineries solution provider, I am working as an Associate Design Engineer 1 in the Structural Department and do design of Pipe racks (Steel and Concrete), Exchanger and vertical vessel foundations.

The design of pipe racks I do is with latest American codes like ASCE 7-05, PIP standards, IBC 2006, LRFD steel design and softwares like RISA. I produce engineering calculations and engineering sketches for my design which is then implemented at site. This has helped me to gain practical learning and become more technical verse across different applications used to check for the design principles of pipe rack connections and detailing, exchanger foundations, and vessel foundations.

With all my education and experience I have come to understand the challenges in designing petrochemical refinery design standards that fuels the success of a Company. At this point, I am looking for an opportunity whereby I can be heavily involved with team in providing technical skills, assistance, ensuring its effective and efficient operation. This will enrich my learning experience and be a working asset for your team.
