2. Shift Engineer (Operation) July 2000 ~ May 2007
Worked with the state of the art 100,000 BPSD PAK-ARAB REFINERY Ltd. (PARCO) as Shift Engineer for
A- Crude Distillation Unit, Having processing capacity of 100,000 BPD
B- Vacuum Distillation Unit, Having processing capacity of 42,800 BPD
C- Kero Merox Unit, Having processing capacity of 20,000 BPD
D- LPG Merox Unit, Having processing capacity of 4,500 BPD
E- Amine treating units, Both MDEA & DEA System
F- Sour water system
G- Sulfur recovery units, Having Sulfur Production capacity of 115 MT/D
H- Sulfur granulation Unit, Having granulation capacity of 6 MT/hr

 Refinery Commissioning Experience
• Worked with UOP, COSMO and JGC experts during Pre-commissioning, commissioning and master start up activities of the above mentioned units at PAK ARAB REFINERY (PARCO).
• Evaluation of Performance & Guarantee Test runs of the process units.

 Annual Turn Around
• Preparation of procedures and supervision for passivation and Sulfiding of Scot catalyst at Sulfur recovery Unit at PARCO.
• CO-coordinated the activities for 1300 ton of catalyst handling (Unloading/loading) with UOP experts at Hydrocracker refinery (TAKREER).
• Inspection of all major equipment like Reactors, Distillation columns, Heat Exchangers, Process Heaters and vessels.
• Coordination for start up and shut down activities.

o Four months diploma in Organizational management.
o One month diploma in AutoCAD.
o Four weeks training of ISO 9000.
o Eight weeks Industrial Orientation Program at NFC Multan.
