MAIN DUTIES


1. Inviting tenders, evaluating bids and executing tender procedures


2. Administer a portfolio of suppliers and contractors - review, evaluate, security checks, site visits.


3. Authorise purchase orders as per set limits and refer higher value orders for authorization by the Chief Operating Officer.


4. Compile and monitor the procurement budget derived from departmental budgets.


5. Coordinate award of term supply agreements (contracts) for maintenance repairs and cleaning services.


6. Manage vehicle maintenance and repairs costs and coordinate the award of fleet management contracts.


7. Prepare monthly reports on consumption trends, costs of goods received, issued or transferred.


8. Providing secretarial services to the Procurement Committee.
