• Monitor the implementation of site constructions for electrical works as per approve design drawing, materials standard and the method of construction
• Familiar and actual exposure with Switchgears, MCC, Circuit Breakers, Inverters, Bus Ducts, Transformers, Panel Boards, Lightning Protection and Grounding system and different types of luminaries.
• Knowledge in Instrument, installation and, testing and verify compliance with Electrical Construction Drawings, Project specification, and contract documentation
• Experience in engineering project execution, Operation and Maintenance of Electrical system of local exchanges. (Diesel Generator, Automatic Transfer switch, Fire Alarms, Grounding Protection, etc.)
• Over 1 year and 6 months experience as Project Manager – Switching Subsystem
• Over two (2) years experience as Assistant Project Manager – Switching/Power Subsystem
• Over eight (8) years experience in installation & commissioning of different Switching Equipment such as Exchange Plus EXS 2000 of Lucent Technologies, TELEPHONE SWITCHING equipment JISCOS 8005 & JISCOS 8007 of Bosch Telecom, installation of Operation and Maintenance Center (OMC), installation and maintenance of X.25 network that includes configuration and upgrade of HOST PC and network components
• Has intermediate knowledge and actual experienced in networking protocols & telecommunication signaling which include MFC-R2, ISDN and SS7 signaling
• Experience in administration of telephony SS7 gateway switch, MFC-R2 toll switch, MFC-R2 transit switch and LEC switching facilities including the administration of the entire network
• Experience in installation, commissioning and maintenance of telephony SS7 gateway switch, MFC-R2 toll switch, MFC-R2 transit switch, LEC switch with the corresponding rectifier and back-up cells
• Computer literate in both hardware and software aspect of computer systems including PC assembly, upgrade, troubleshooting and setup of various Windows and Unix Operating System
• Has good written & communications skills in English which aide in dealing with all levels of organization
• Has excellent learning ability in a fast paced environment through self-research & continuing education
