 Planning and effecting predictive & preventive maintenance schedules of various plant equipments to increase machine up time/ equipment reliability in the cogeneration plant; thereby accomplishing planned production targets.
 Proactively identify areas of obstruction / breakdowns through breakdown analysis and taking steps to rectify the equipments through application of trouble shooting tools.
 Coordinating material / spare parts planning related activities encompassing identification of vendors, requirement specification & offer evaluation.
 Executing cost saving and energy saving techniques/ measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in O&M expenditures and work within the budget.
Process Enhancement & Quality Control
 Identifying scope for
- Planning, implementing & monitoring of technological changes to enhance machine efficiency.
- Modifications in equipments, process flow, working practices, consumables, power etc for controlling & reducing conversion cost per unit produced.
 Implementing TPM techniques for energy conservation, entailing identification of opportunities, analysis of data, conduction of tests, cost benefit analysis, implementation & post audits.
 Ensuring adherence to quality standards like ISO and maintaining all related documents.
 Identifying areas of quality failures and take steps to rectify the system; reviewing emission norms periodically.

Man Management

 Directing & leading personnel and imparting continuous on job training to the workforce for accomplishing greater operational effectiveness/ efficiency.
 Working on succession planning of the workforce, appraising their performance & providing feedback. Preparing Heat Balance Sheets and
 Resolving interpersonal issues & working towards a harmonious work environment.
