Junior civil engineer, graduate

to gain experience, become an assest to the company and provide innovative forward thinking

I am applying for a job as I am a young, enthusiastic, career driven individual post graduate Civil Engineering with limited experience in construction and consulting as well as business skills. I would like to start working as a Civil Engineer in the field to gain more knowledge and expertise in these and other areas. My Degree concludes towards the end of this year and I am available from the beginning of next year, January 2009.
Civil Engineering has been my goal and passion from the age of 13 when I first asked my father how they built a bridge. Since then it has always been my priority to achieve this goal. From about 2003 I told my parents that I want to work in Dubai, Civil Engineering Mecca of the world, I mean what could be better for a post graduate student in Civil Engineering.
I see myself as a dynamic and strong individual. I enjoy pushing aspects to the limit, especially when it comes to my body doing physical activities but feel that this can be a skill that can transgress into Civil Engineering facets, in the sense of having an open mind and knowing that nothing is impossible. I am so intrigued by the Civil Engineering projects that they have completed and that are in progress in Dubai that it gives me ‘goose bumps’ and a thrill every time I watch or hear anything about Dubai.
I have very limited experience in the field of Civil Engineering, yet I know that I would be an asset to any firm that decided to hire me as I am motivated, aggressive and ready for any challenge that is placed in front of me.
