Application Letter for Field Operator

Position; Control Room Operator at NGF Plant, NGL Plant JT Plant

•Duty Performed: Operate DCS and PLC Control Panel, Process facilities and utility system, rectify process disturbances, start and stop production facilities and utility equipment and carry out routine checks all activities/situation on NGL and LPG plant equipment within the defined area of duty.
•Ability to read and understand technical documents, e.g. P &IDs & Instrument Process flow diagram. Good command, written and spoken, of the English Language.
•Carries out troubleshooting of a more complex nature in the field as cause and Effect Action requirement of and Regeneration system, Glycol system, Liquefy Propane & Butane System/Fractionation, hot oil system.
•Preparation of daily activity reports and logs records from DCS and field of all plant running parameters and bringing to attention of supervisor, regarding detailed information of any abnormalities and defects, and make suggestion to solve the problem.
•Ability to communicate clearly and concisely by radio and other communication means.
•Carries out routine checks on equipment for abnormalities. Conducts surveys, PSV checks, leak testing as per company procedures.
•Ensure lube oil and fill in to the reservoir system at the compressor turbine and pumps.
•Take samples and refer to laboratory for analysis.
•Prepares equipment for maintenance and recommissions when completed safely for production
•Carries out gas detection testing prior to execution of work permits to ensure existence of safe conditions.
•First or second signatory on all types of work permits being responsible for listing all safety and environmental precautions and monitoring progress of work.
•Preparation Isolation list and de-isolation list all unit, Blinding and de-blinding list all unit.
•Carry out integrity and performance tests on plant and equipment.
• Responsible for internal safety audit to all equipment of Field housekeeping and safety aspects.
•Learns emergency procedures and responds to emergency situations as a team member.
• Good adaptability to multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures and customs and Familiar with a permit to work system and lockout procedures.
• Experience in commissioning and start up activities.
