Professional Experience
• Conduct maintenance inspection of in-service piping, vessels, valves, equipments, wellhead towers, hook-up & header piping and platform structures located in offshore and inshore.
• Manage complete inspection activities during fabrication, erection, re-rating, replacement and monitor adherence to approved specifications, quality and safety procedures.
• Analyse retirement thickness, remaining life, and maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP) of the in-service piping and equipment based on applicable inspection techniques, as per the code requirements and issue necessary recommendation and endorsement.
• Organise the Corrosion survey activities and evaluate the effectiveness of the corrosion protection system.
• Form plant failure reports and issue necessary immediate recommendations on short term basis.
• Participate in major and small shutdowns.
• Prepare a planning for the periodic inspection of piping, vessels, valves, and equipments.
• Ensure that any plant modification / repair is competed in accordance relevant codes, this enhanced by interpretation and judgment of radiograph & ultrasonic scan
• Assisting maintenance in reducing any un-planned work by issuing detail repair requirements to enable plant to meet design criteria
• Offer predictive opinion on plant remnant life based on deduction from inspection report
• Study & advise any developing which may place restraint on plant usage, explain remedial action & advise on limitation promoters and duration
• Advise on economic repair / modification to maintain the standards and Provide assurance that, the repair /modification work is completed accordingly
• Prepare the scope of work and procedure for contract services
• Evaluate the integrity and fitness of service for in-service items according to standards and company specifications.
