Duties and responsibilities handled as a QA/QC Manager

„« Responsible for assuring and controlling the work quality as per the approved specification and drawings

„« Responsible for the overall quality control of all the construction activities at site

„« Responsible for all inspections at site inclusive of witnessing, sentencing, recording and reporting the results and resolving any problems arising

„« Ensure that all inspections are executed efficiently and expeditiously in order to comply with the master construction schedule.

„« Responsible for liaising, coordinating, advising and instructing the Managerial staff and all matters relative to Quality Control at site.

„« Establish, implement and maintain all the site quality control, technical and any computer integrated control systems

„« Assure all technical documents relative to site quality control are at current status

„« Prepare detailed records and reports at all inspections conducted at the site and maintain the quality control documentation

„« Establish and conduct regular quality control meetings with the subcontractor

„« Correlate, prepare and issue the weekly field inspection

„« Evaluate specific inspections and sentence the results with the subcontractor

„« Day to Day planning and co-ordination of QA/QC activities

„« Preparation of QA/QC procedures and test plans.

„« Review WPS, PQR, Test Certificates, Reports & Other Documents

„« Review of radiographs, PWHT charts, Witnessing of UT, MPT
& DPT and witnessing of non-destructive testing for WPS & PQR

„« Material inspections
„« Civil Inspection
„« FDT inspection random check for civil activity
„« Witnessing Lab test report

„« Site inspection and respective documentation and control

„« Test package identification, review and verification

„« Co-ordination of testing activities

„« Calibrating testing equipment

„« Co-ordination with client and subcontractors

„« Prepare and issue of non-conformance reports

„« Quality audits

„« Final documentation and hand over.
