Water Treatment Engineer

To obtain a full-time position as a chemical engineer in a Petroleum/Water/Energy company where there is opportunity to acquire technical experience and problem solving skills.

Work for 3 months as Site Engineer (commissioning and performance test period) at Zara-Ma'in Water Treatment and Conveyance Project. The capacity of plant is (6000 cu.m/hr).

Veolia Water solutions & Technologies (Metito Saudi Arabia) [Nov. 2006- till now].
As a Chemist:
•Analyze all type of water for alkalinity, hardness, chlorides, turbidity, pH, conductivity, BOD, COD, bacterial count, including anions and cations.
•Prepare standard report of analysis as required for preparation of design and proposals for water and wastewater treatment.
•Prepare and standardize all standard laboratory reagents and solutions.
•Responsible for calibration of laboratory equipments, like analytical balance, pH meter, conductivity meters, Hach spectrophotometer.
•Ability to optimize dosage of coagulant or flocculant required using JAR TEST.
•Strict compliance of ISO 9000 standards and procedures.

As Application Engineer:
•Review the water treatment program and inspect the undergoing treatment and carry field analysis as to water chemistry.
•Prepare the reports and discuss the findings for corrective actions and make water treatment analysis of Boiler (low & high pressure), Cooling towers and chillers.
•Supervise chemical cleaning and disinfection jobs.
•Consistent site visits as per schedule.
•Monitoring of various desalination and waste treatment plant.
•Assist sales engineers in identifying client's needs.

As Sales Engineer:

•Preparing a high quality and professionally offer in compliance with the clients requirement and company’s standard text formats.
•Participate in customer visits & technical discussions where appropriate to help resolve specific technical problems.
•Establishing new, and maintaining existing, long-term relationships with customers.
•Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery.
•Provide & coordinate after-sales technical support to Business Partners & end users.
•Meeting regular sales targets.

B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Jordan University of Science & Technology (October 2001-June 2006).
