Terminal operator

$Seeking a job in the capacity of Terminal operator in a good standard Organization using professional experience and qualification.

TERMINAL OPERATOR (18 August 2005 till now)
Working as a Terminal Operator , it is an independent oil terminal having 1.4 million cubic meters capacity with five phase tank farms comprising 48 tanks and two manifolds, truck loading station, Four tanker jetties and a SPM. The terminal was commission in 1998 and is built to highest international Standards.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Loading and discharging of tanks to and from vessels, corresponding line up and checks.
•Blending operations involving inter tank Transfers, in-line blending, on-board blending, blending of chemicals and additives.
•Attending truck filling station.
•Executing other operational activities such as line pigging, Line packing, various stripping, circulation, Nitrogen bubbling, de-watering of tanks, preparation for tank cleaning, sampling and gauging.
•Operation and maintenance of various equipments and utilities such as centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, centrifugal air compressors, diesel generators, hot oil heaters, Nitrogen production unit, effluent management unit.
•Inspection of Hot, Cold work and confined space entry sites and permits.
•Supervision and co-ordination of contractor works and activities.
•Performing routine checks and enforcing safety precautions and measures.
•Oily water separator operations.
•Fire water pumps operations.
EXPERIENCE AS A LOADING MASTER IN JETTY:
•Coordinating with Pilot regarding positioning and berthing and unberthing of vessels
•To carry out safety checks on vessels and jetty in line with company and international standards
•Conduct a key meeting with ships officers regarding cargo operation plan, executing initial and final cargo/shipping documentation
•Ships loading and unloading operations done by using hose tower and loadings arms.
•Ship to ship transfer
