Overall 23 years experience in Piping Design/Detailed Engg., Matl. Procurement, Inspection, Construction, Installation and Maintenance related to Petrochemicals, refinery and Oil & Gas Field Projects.
WORK EXPERIENCE Details:
1.Piping Design:
Panned,scheduled,co-ordinated to ensure that the Piping deliverables were made on time and as per the approved documents. It involved, site survey,Preparation of layouts,isos,BOM,support dwgs.,line list,piping matl.specs.,tie-in schedules,nozzle orientation,matl.procurement specs.& data sheets, technical evaluation of bids/offers and recommendation, updating P& ID’s, estimating man-hours,coordinating with engg. disciplines like civil,electrical, instrument,process,mechanical,stress group and projects, carried out IDC. Prepared Statutory dwgs.& specs.
For Existing Plant carried drawing search of clients archieves.
Field Piping engr.
Job involved providing input from site to Engg.office for Piping design, provided design support to construction group. Revised design to suit site conditions, clients requirement. Ensured that matl.implication because of revision are taken care of.
2.Project Mgmt.:
Interface coordinator(Piping) for a Refinery Project. Co-ordinated with various engg.contractors for the tie-ins at interface locations, to ensure that piping matl.specs.for the whole project was a single document, coordinated and produced a single specification for Fire fighting requirement of the whole refinery, Co-ordination with Licensers to overcome queries raised by Engg. Contractors.
Engg.coordinator:Job involved co-ordinating all the engg. activities related to project between the head office and Site.At times deputized for Project manager.
Lead Mechanical Engr.:Prepared a comprehensive Shutdown Bid document for Client.
Mechanical Engr.:Work involved Preparing Job Packages and Matls. requisition,tech. evaluation,Inspection,site survey/supervision and Co-ordination with Contractors.
3.Construction Mgmt.(Mech./Piping):Job involved site supervision,Testing of Pipelines,Unloading/Erection of equipment,Checking Co-ordinates/alignment of Erected Equipment,Monitoring & Progress Reporting,Certification of Contractors bills, Co-ordination between various Site agencies & Head office,Planning work considering availability of equipment,matls., manpower, hiring construction equipment, Reviewing consultants dwgs.
