Highlights of Experience
Executive; Founded QC Manufacturing in January of 2005 to facilitate the manufacture of waste to energy equipment. Transitioned Tyler Fab from a sole proprietor to a Limited Partnership and Incorporated Xexas International to commercialize a waste to energy technology. Restored Tyler Shuttle to profitability through the incorporation of DJS Transportation and strong team leadership. This resulted in gross sales increases of some 300% in less than 2 years.
Management; Coordinated field operations and mechanic service support for a large gas gathering system with some 160 compressors. Procure and assess consultant and contractor support for surface and subsurface production and drilling. Team lead for the Safety and Environmental Operations Team. Coordinated the production operations for a 600 well oil and gas field in southwest Kansas. Responsible for identifying production opportunities, implementing, managing, and tracking results for some 1300 oil and gas wells. Worked closely in supporting operation engineers, reservoir dept, land dept, capital projects, state regulatory agencies, upper management, accounting, and field personnel. Job duties included economic justification for capital and operations budget expenditures, tracking and reporting BOE/DOE, ROI, and other goal related benchmarks. The use of database information, declines curves, well file history and other resources to analyze and report potential opportunities.Instrumental in developing an effective accounting system that enabled the asset team to control their operation expenses. This resulted in an annual expense reduction of some 37% or $2.5 M.
Operations; Responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of more than 200 wells, having produced more than 1 million bbls of oil and 2 billion cubic feet of gas. Experienced in remedial work over operations, construction and repair of production facilities and equipment. Designed and implemented treating programs that realized production increases of 25%-75% with substantial savings over traditional stimulation methods. Successfully represented a lost gas dispute with Mid Con Gas Service resulting in savings of some $600,000. Instrumental in securing some $120,000 in rebates from Cornerstone Gas for noncompliance with a gas contract.
