1. HSE Manager From 21/07/2007 to till date-Nagarjuna Construction Company (NCC), Oman-Develops/review/updates policies and programs. Supervise/Controls, safety/fire and accident prevention activities. Organize and control resources available and promote Health & Safety. Maintain cordial relation with client and consultant. Attend client/consultant meetings. Interact with company department heads, managers/engineers and ensure health and safety measures are implemented. Identify training requirements and draw up suitable schemes. Directs and leads in the event of emergencies. Investigate accidents or incidents. Ensure risk assessment and job hazard analysis prepared and make arrangements for planning, organizing and monitoring preventive measures and appoint adequate number of competent HSE staff. Ensure new employee induction, safety toolbox meetings, inspection of fire extinguisher, camp, first aid box and PPE. Implement reward schemes to motivate employees to improve safety. Inspect plant, site and camp and stop unsafe acts and conditions.
2.Sr.SAFETY OFFICER from 09/12/2006 to 19/06/2007 Cape East & Partners LLC, Oman-Supervise/Controls, safety/fire and accident prevention activities. Develops and conduct new employees induction, toolbox meeting, safety/fire fighting training. Inspect work site, scaffolding, office facilities, and camp and prepare reports and follow-up. Attend work progress meetings. Investigate accidents or incidents. Organize inter company Safety meeting and prepare minutes of meeting. Perform risk assessment and job hazard analysis. Directs and leads in the event of emergencies. Maintain tight discipline of personnel and their time attendance cards. Prepare documents for ISO audits
