Installation and commissioning of all electronic and pneumatic instrumentation.
Witness acceptance of all types of control systems, ESD, fire and gas, DCS
Quality control of construction practices, commissioning procedures.
Function testing of control narratives, ESD narratives, fire and gas narratives.
Ensuring correct management of all documentation, eg; data sheets, cause and effect drawings, p & id’s, calibration sheets etc.
Supervision of above including the coaching and assistance of personnel.
Following company guidelines to HSE, permit to work, management of change etc.

Job Analysis

To whom it may concern.

I have around twenty plus years experience in the oil and gas industry working with instrumentation. I am a time served instrument technician and over my career have carried out various levels of duty; I have been a lead commissioning supervisor on various sites also covering in an Engineers position.

My experience is from construction through to commissioning and start-up; I have remained on site to hand over maintenance duties to national labour, coaching them in the new instrumentation installed and how to work safely using the correct HSE procedures. I have also been employed to assess competency levels of the technicians to see were they may need specific training.

I am aware of the various HSE policies and I am conversant with the different types of PTW and there associated certification.

I have now been in Algeria for ten years, third project, three and a half years on current project and believe I need a fresh challenge, new faces etc.
