Working as Lead Operator/Acting shift supervisor for SIPCHEM for the integrated process of Worlds first Reverse Butamer plant (UOP technology) – MAn (Huntsman technology) – Butanediol (Davy process technology) units with capacity of 75000 TPA of Butanediol and 7500 TPA of Tetrahydrofuran (THF) as final products. Experiences include:-
- Worked since commissioning of the above units.
- Commissioned package systems like Hydrogen PSA unit (UOP), Boiler / Incerinator (Callidus) and Compressor-Turbine-Generator - 9 MW (Man-Turbo).
- Operated critical systems like Partial oxidation ( POX ) reactors, Hydrogenation reactors ( 60barg ) , Butane separation and storage, Reaction column, Hydrogen compressors, Pressure swing, Azeotropic and Vacuum distillation systems, Absorbers, Evaporators, Solvent Extractors, Chilled and Tempered water systems, etc.
- Making of Start-up / Shutdown procedures, DCS control loops, ESD, Interlocks verifications, PSSR, Piping walk downs activities, Inerting, leak & pressure testing & Generate punch listing items as per P&ID charts for various systems within the unit.
- Assigned to train fresh Saudi operators about process control systems, auxiliaries by classroom presentations & then demonstrate practically to them at the work site.
