•Responsible for all HR activities to include employment, compensation, benefits & development.
•Interview job applications; review application/resume; evaluate application skills and make recommendations regarding applicantˇ¦s qualifications.
•Develop & maintain relationship with employment agencies and other recruitment sources.
•Prepare & maintain company salary structure, job descriptions and job evaluations systems. ˇ§Complete salary survey questionnairesˇ¨.
process for new and rehired marine crewmember including: authorization forms, physical examinations and fitness test. Ensures payroll and Human Resource receive accurate and timely information on monthly basis.
•Ability to respond quickly to various operational crises. Items may include, but are not limited to, illness, injury, failure of a crewmember to meet an obligation, failed of medical fitness, all of which are our of control of the position but must be responded to in a timely and effective manner.
•Work closely with Marine Department to facilitate scheduling of crew and logistics.
•Serves as a primary contact person ashore for marine crewmembers, management and family. Assist with interpretation of the Institutionˇ¦s policies and procedures as well as facilitating communication between crewmembers and families when emergencies occur.
•Prepares proposals, budgets, quotes, charges, invoices and other documents relation to Marine Operations.
