Drilling Engineer / Night company man

• Currently working with Dewan Petroleum (Pvt.) Ltd. as Drilling Engineer from 1st of January, 2005 to date.

FIELD SITE
Working with drilling supervisor as a Drilling Engineer (Night Company man).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Preparing well data sheets;
• Designing and selecting well-head equipment;
• Obtaining relevant data, carrying out analysis on site and recommending immediate actions as necessary;
• Carrying out full engineering analysis of rig site data and preparing regular well reports;


OFFICE SITE
Assisting G.M. Drilling,
• Well Planning Preparation of Material Bids (Casing, Tubing, Completion, Well Head, Rig Specs, Bits), sending to Vendors and preparation of Comparative statements upon quotations receipt; both technical as well as commercial, expenses details for all the activities to estimate AFE.
• Preparation of Drilling Prognosis for new wells.
• Preparation of well construction and well completion diagrams
• Preparation of Well Completion Reports
• Comparison of Rig Hiring and Purchasing options
• Preparation of Drilling and Hydraulics parameters for GDO of future wells.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES WITH DEWAN DRILLING:
• Participation in Rig up of Dewan Drilling RIG# 1 and RIG # 2.
R/U Responsibilities: Preparation of BHA, stacking the required BHA components on the pipe racks and rig floor, measurement of each component and preparation of BHA and Pipe tallies.
• Worked on Technical evaluation for purchase of two Rigs;
i. 900 HP Mechanical Rig
ii. 1300 HP Electrical Rig
Responsibilities given were,
1. Prepare the Rig Inventory as per the requirement for drilling and work over of Dewan Petroleum Wells
2. Preparing the testing plans of each rig
3. Participation in preparing the Drilling Contract Documents,
4. Analysis of the Rig requirements and coordination with Procurement Manager accordingly
1 Worked Two year as a Maintenance Engineer in Dewan Salman Fibre Ltd from Feb 2nd, 2003 to Dec, 2004.
Responsibilities:
1 Assisting A.G.M. Maintenance in,
• Checked the Daily Plant Maintenance Report.
• Maintain the Spare Parts.
• Prepared Preventive Maintenance Schedule.
• Planning / Assigning Emergency shut down duties.
