Servicing and Maintenance of Various types of Diesel Generators (cater pillar, Cummins, Mitsubishi etc.,) Control Panels and Storage Batteries (lead acid & nickel cadmium type etc.).

Petroleum Corporation Ltd on contract basis (BPCL supplies fuel to 350 MW Combined Cycle Power Project of National thermal Power Corporation Ltd Kayamkulam, Kerala)
Nature of Job
1. To Supervise a team carrying out of maintenance activities according to plan, in order to assure the maximum equipment availability respecting all internal maintenance procedures and best practices and all the safety regulations and procedures. It includes:-
a) Monitoring fuel (Naphtha) storage tank levels and parameters, MOV indications in Control room, while unloading & transferring the products.
Preparing certificates for quantity unloaded &transferred to tanks in batch wise operations using calibration chart and to update the system.
Operation & Maintenance of Motor control Center, 11KV/415 switch gear room, Circuit breakers, Power Transformers, Station type Storage batteries (110V DC), induction motors, Lighting Systems etc.
b) O&M of fuel unloading / pumping stations& Floating roof type fuel (Naphtha) storage tanks. Automatic firefighting system like Spray sprinkler systems, Foam systems, Deluge valves and its PM checks of diesel engines & motors.
c) Daily /weekly/ monthly /yearly checking of fuel and fire water storage tanks, Tank farm area and OWS systems, ITT Pumps & Motors.
d) Daily routine checking of motor control center, fuel pump house and fire water pump house, monthly / yearly checking of all equipments and fire drills.
e) Gauging of fuel storage tanks and Tank wagons.f) O& M of various types of fire extinguishers, water and foam type monitors. 2. To execute detailed scheduling of equipment maintenance according to maintenance plan, manpower availability, company procedures and priorities.
3. To check availability of materials and ensure the withdrawal.
