My purpose would be to share best practices, lessons learned, and experience to foster communications and share problem solving skills on executing Mechanical service requests (DOSR).

Principal Design Draughtsperson - 10/2006 to current

Contract senior level position at Chevron Refinery in the Petrochemical sector in Milnerton, SA
Duties & Responsibilities
Maintaining of Chevron Refinery plant, in providing a drafting service, compiling working drawings on piping iso's and structural detailing for replacements or new installations to the plant.

Design Draughtsman - 04/2000 to 09/2006

Permanent skilled level position at HG Molenaar & Co in the Engineering sector in Paarl, South Africa (Western Cape). Benefits: Medical Aid, Pension Fund.
Duties & Responsibilities
Design and CAD detail draughting (Caddie 9.0) of Pressure vessels, Conveying Systems in the canning, food and beverage industry. Involvement in projects from initial stage to final installation. Work directly with Project Manager and do majority of design and detailing on specifically pressure cooker and coolers for food cans.
Project values are approximately R5million and more, mainly for the export market with limited local supply to companies like RFF, Langeberg Foods, SapCo and others.

Design Draughtsman - 08/1997 to 03/2000

Permanent skilled level position at De Beers in the Mining sector in Kimberley, Lime Acres, South Africa (Northern Cape).
Duties & Responsibilities
on CAD (MicroStation SE)Projects on maintenance of mining equipment and machinery, development projects in underground environment - mechanical, structural and civil.

Contract Draughtsman - 07/1992 to 07/1997

Contract skilled level position at Draft Hire Agency in the Engineering sector in Cape Town,
Duties & Responsibilities
Mechanical design and drafting at various companies like Thomas Automation cc in Paarl, Metal Box in Epping, Nylon Spinners in Bellville and Creo cc in Stellenbosch. Projects involved were mainly in the canning, food and beverage industries. Also new concept designs and developments at Creo, which was previously part of Stellenbosch Universaty Research and Development Division.
