Long-term career path development in the oil and gas industry

I have over 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry through several international companies including Schlumberger GeoQuest, Unocal (Chevron), BP and SK Energy. I have been involving to several projects from an exploration to a development phase as a main role of a geophysicist.

My responsibilities cover by new venture and on-going projects regarding technical evaluation, prospect generation, risk assessment, detailed mapping, reserves calculation, drilling recommendation and management presentation. I also act as a mentor providing technical development to the less experienced staff, and sharing knowledge to the team.

I completed a M.Sc Degree in Petroleum Geosciences at University of Brunei Darussalam in 2000 and a B.Sc Degree in Geophysics at Hanoi University of Mining and Geology in 1997 by awarded full scholarships respectively. I have also attended several courses that were held in-house and/or by professional training organizations.
