Refinery Operation Supervisor/Superintendent

Broaden experience with international company

. At the moment I work at the Valero Aruba Refinery as an Operation Shift Supervisor. I¡¦ve been employed since 1998 as a Field Operator (5 years) and worked myself up to the position of Shift Supervisor (6 years). Occasionally, I act as the Day-Superintendent for the Area. I¡¦ve worked in different areas within the department such as the Crude Oil Distillation, Gas Oil Fractionation, Gas Plant Splitters, Visbreaker/Vacuum Flasher, Hydrogen production, Hydro Treaters, DCS-control systems (Honeywell), and other utility areas. I offer significant abilities in the areas of Project/Turn-around start-up and shut-down, Department Management and Document Preparation. Currently I supervise ten (10) hourly employees (union covered). I am primarily responsible for the training, Safety and Health of my subordinates, reliable operation of the equipments and product quality assurance.

My current job description covers a broad variety of disciplines which I can further elaborate during an interview. Together with my technical and administrative knowledge, I have shown a high degree of stress resistant in this business.
I dominate four different languages in both word and writing (Dutch, English, Spanish and Papiamento).
