Experience Summary:
Piping Designer/Engineer with over eight (8) years professional experience in Engineering Design and Drafting for petrochemical, industrial, oil and gas facilities, mining, and automotive parts and components. Design, Drafting, CADD and Checking experience includes training, field surveying, estimating, conceptual layout, pipe supports, material take-off and troubleshooting in the field for construction. Proficient in the use of Autoplant, Navisworks, Autocad 2000/2004, Microstation SE/J/V8/I-RAS B and PDS Intergraph (Piping, Equipment and Frameworks Plus), Smartplant Reviewer, Solidworks 2001/2002, Cadra Design Drafting, Starcool ver.1.0/1.7(simulation software) and has the ability to interpret piping stress analysis calculation output from CAESAR II. With qualified experience in primary preparation and check work of Piping Engineering product such as Piping Isometric Drawing, General Piping Arrangement Drawing, Pipe support Design and Piping Material Take-off. Has the ability to deal with the project effectively to ensure the completions on time both supervised and unsupervised positions. Ability to survey existing facilities and create accurate current status “as built” layouts and schematics as base plans for new work and ability to carry out design and drafting assignments using a methodical approach and systematic self-checking skills with minimal supervision. Experience with project where interfacing with other discipline is required and working in a quality assured documentation environment
