Position holding : Project Engineer

My duties and responsibilities:

• Implementation of company policies for Quality Assurance
• Supervision of the civil works such as bore piling, excavation, pile cutting, shuttering works, beams, column, slab, steel fabrication and finishing stage.
• Submitting Drawing for local Authority’s approval and follow up.
• Monitor the time schedule of the project and further follow up.
• Over all co-ordination with Services task such as Electrical, fire fighting & Air Conditioning Works, in co-ordination with the subcontractor engineer and evaluate the progress of the work.
• Arranging technical meeting with the electromechanical consultants and the subcontractors.
• Preparing snagging lists.
• Studying and finalizing payments certificates, quotations as well as variations.
• Day to day supervision and management.
• Quantity Survey.
• Handling all the correspondence of the project.
• Assisting the Project Manager with the Minutes of Meeting.
Projects handled:
(on-going) : 35 storey project at Mahooz

(Completed) :12 storey project at Sugaya

(Completed) :10 storey project at Mahooz

July 2006 – Sept 2006:
Trainee in the Ministry of Working and Housing in sewerage Department.

Graduation research project
Driver’s Behavior in Bahrain in three main categories of roads: residential, commercial and highway at peak and non-peak periods.

Oct 2008 – Till Now:
• Studying General English in the British Council (Level 4.3)

Sept 2002 – June 2007:
• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from University of Bahrain.

July 2006 – Aug 2006:
• Completed English Language, level 4.2 in the British Council.

Sept 1999 – June 2002:
• Secondary Certificate in the science field from Issa Town Secondary School.
