Manage the maintenance of all safety equipment and systems on Helipad
emergency systems, breathing apparatus (including escape sets).
Lifeboats and life rafts, Fire Extinguishers, Gas Detectors etc.
Helicopter Landing Officer.
Provide management and workforce (including contractors) with safety
advice.
Carry out environmental monitoring.
Ensure all safety policy, standards and operational procedure guides are
understood and followed.
Auditing: permits, risk assessments, job sites and job practices.
Monitoring of work sites and work activity.

1. 26.03.1990 - 08.03.1991 - Rig Deema at Doha for North Field
Development Project - QGPC - (PS-4).
2. 09.03.1991 - 09.04.1991 - Rig Deema at Dubai for US Navy
(Accommodation).
3. 10.04.1991 - 09.09.1991 - Rig Murjan at Doha for North Field
Development Project - QGPC (PS-4).
Duty included the adherence to Mansal Offshore Clients, Bechtel/Technip,
McDermott, Brown and Root, Balleli Saudi Heavy Industries Ltd., QGPC
and Local Government Safety regulations.
Responsible of making the Rigs sea worthy by applying SOLAS.
Incharge of all life saving and fire fighting appliances, conducting safety
meetings / Tool Box talks and Fire /Abandon rig drills.
Reporting accidents / incidents to rig Captain and Management for
insurance coverage. Monitor gases from Production platform and
evacuation plan for emergency. Worked as Safety Officer
in National Petroleum Construction Company, Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.
from 12.04.1984 - 26.02.1990.
Reports to the Barge Superintendent and Loss Prevention Superintendent.

Duties included the adherence to NPCC, clients and local government
safety regulations. Responsible for making vessels seaworthy by applying
SOLAS. Incharge of the eminence of life saving and fire fighting

Monitor gases and evacuation plan for emergency cases.
Sixteen years of dedicated defence service with the Indian Navy in the
Executive branch and retired in the rank of Petty officer (Seaman). During
this period served in various ships and establishments out of which eight
years in supervisory capacity.

Whilst on shore-safety office, assist Loss prevention officer for mobilization/
certification of all barges for offshore operations. Also carry out safety
inspection/audit for all sections such as fabrication, workshop, plant,
rigging etc,. Conducting safety training for NPCC Onshore/Offshore
personnel and sub-contractors.
