Summary- CV Applicant has over 17 years of experience in QA/QC and Inspection activities in Pressure Vessels and Oil & Gas Projects. Presently working as Inspection Engineer (Secondmend ) in Project Department of M/s. Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), an ISO 9001:2000 Certified Division, and will be available from 17th Feb-09 or early if needed.
Detail of Experience

Responsibility As Inspection Engineer for varous Projects of KNPC Project Department, eg;

• CB/PD/1214 – Facilities for Moisture Control & Dehazing of Gas Oil at MAB Refinery- : and still ongoing
• CB/PD/1202 –Wo#18 Heaters and Boiler Safety Upgradation Phase-I (Shut down jobs) SHU
• CB/PD/1230 – Wo# 01, ROIV (Shut down jobs) – SHU
• CS/PD/1794- Replacement of CS Pipelines with PTFE Lines in SHU
• CA/PD/3642- Replacement of 12 Nos off site Pipe line in Old Refinery -MAA
• CA/PD/3603- EPC for Electrostatic Precipitator- MAA
• CB/PD/1230- Wo-004; Chilled Water System fo Emergency Eye wash & Safety Shower Units- MAA
• CA/PD/3624- EPC for Expansion of New oil Pier at MAA Refinery by new additional Bearths 5 &6.
• CA/2575 - Rehabilitation of North Oil Pier (EPC) in MAA
• CA/PD/3631- Modification of Existing ARD Off Gas Compressor- MAA

Nature of Job: Review contractors/ vendors submittal documents such as Project Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plans, Method statements, Shop/ Field Inspection procedures, Welding Procedures, WPS/PQR, PMI, NDE a hot tapping Procedures and various other Procedures in line with Contract Specifications and KNPC Engg Standards/ SHELL DEPs as applicable. Conduct periodic audit on contractor’s QA/QC system in line with QMS Procedure.

Field Inspection Activities: Coordination amoung project team for issues relating to QA/QC and Inspections jobs.

Education B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) in Mechanical Engineering with Ist_ Class from Regional Engineering College- Calicut , Kerala - India in 1990

1. IRCA Certified Auditor (ISO 9000: 2000)- from Modi International
2. Level - II, Certified in RT/UT/ PT/ MP as per ASNTC/ TC-1A.)
3. AWS QC1 CWI (Certified Welding Inspector No. 04101091)

1. Experience(10 yrs) in ISO: 9001 Implementation, ISO 14001 EMS Awareness
2. Attended Refinery Safety awareness and occupational safety courses.
3. Exposure of Codes/ Standards ; ASME,ASTM,API, MSS SP, MESC, ISO, BS EN and working experience with SHELL DEPs, KNPC Engg. Standards/ I&C Manual.
