CRITICAL OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT: Managed critical operations in many occasions, especially in navigating ships through various turbulent situations such as, critical channels, canals, dangerous coastal areas, and port arrival/departure. Oversaw navigation, cargo operation, and safety of ship and staff and recommended necessary amendments. Conducted operations such as, loading, discharging, tank cleaning, and tank preparation for various hazardous chemical and oil cargos.
•Provided strategic planning and execution for operations that includes navigation, cargo operations, maintenance of operational equipment, emergency repairs, and planned maintenance.
•As member of ship board safety committee, recommended planning for security, safety, energy conservation and environmental health and safety programs.

Planned passage and led navigation team for voyage as per requirements of charter party and international regulations.
•Voyage Planning: Optimizing the cost effectiveness, keeping in mind the safety aspects and the adherence to the local and international guidelines, and the ecological aspect as well.
•Assured implementation of Danish work policies and work procedures by providing clear planning, direction and leadership. Final acceptance by Danish regulatory was done simultaneously with cargo operations at port, saved one day off hire revenue of vessel.
•Added value to “safer ship policy” by developing drill planner, safer drill procedures and ultimately improved safe work culture.

•Trained ship staff regarding handling of hazardous cargo, navigational equipment, safety equipment, safety procedures and company policies.
