June 2005 to Present International Police Advisor/Iraq

From June 2005 to present, I have been a member of the U. S. State Departments Police Mission in Iraq. I have had the opportunity to assist in the reconstruction of the Iraqi Police Services at all levels, obtaining valuable experience in the management of personnel, budgets, and safety and security related issues. I have held positions that involved the management of over one hundred and fifty International Police Advisors to my current position as Lead Trainer to the Dahuk Province. In this position, I have oversight of the training needs of the Iraqi Police currently numbering over 16000. I have gained valuable experience, and an ability to interact with personnel at all levels. I have also been able to become proficient in all Microsoft Programs. While in Iraq I have held positions such as;
• Training Lead, Dahuk Province
• Special Investigator to the Contingent Commander, Baghdad
• Regional Commander, Al Anbar Province
• Team Lead, Forward Operating Base, Ramadi, Al Anbar Province.
• Provincial Training Team Deputy Chief, Al Anbar Province
• Team Member, Al Anbar Movement Team

October 1991 – May 2005 Wilson County Sheriff’s Department
While at the Wilson County Sheriff’s Department I gained valuable experience in all aspects of the day to day operations of the department. In various capacities I dealt with personnel issues, budgets related matters, media relations, and supervisory related issues. While at the Wilson County Sheriff’s Department, I held positions such as;

While with the 1st Battalion 3rd Marines I supervised the Company Armory for two years. My last year in the Marine Corps I worked in classified material and held a Secret Clearance.
