Mechanical Maintenance Engineer In Cairo Oil Refining Company (CORC) At Cairo, Egypt.
Main Responsibilities Are:-
• Carrying out Maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, overhauling and modification jobs of a wide range of rotating and static equipment as, all types of Compressors, Pumps, Air blowers, Heat exchangers, Tanks(fixed & movement roof), Pipelines, Valves, Pressure Vessels, and Fire fighting system.} And ensure plant reliable operation in safe conditions.
• Carrying out alignment job for all rotating equipment by using Face & Rim method and Reverse method.
• Carry out hydrostatic test for static equipment (hear exchangers, pipelines and vessels).
• Commissioning & start up of different types of static & rotating equipment.
• Participate in installation and commissioning start up of the new centrifugal gas compressor from GE company (USA) in reforming area
• Significant Participate in installing of the new distillation tower in Cairo oil refining company in the distillation area.
• Making the selection of pumps and compressors according to api standards and corc's
general specifications.
• Following up maintenance programs for all machinery (pumps, compressors, turbines)
in distillation and reformer units.
• Preparing technical specification of technical evaluation of process pumps for two
new process units.
• Bed evaluation, preparation of technical reports for process pumps, air compressors,
instrument air package (reciprocating compressors, air dryer, and receiver).
• Supervision of installation and erection of reciprocating gas compressor in reforming
area.
• Process centrifugal pumps according to API 610 for new distillation reformer unit.
• Centrifugal recycle gas compressor according to API 617 specification for the
reformer unit (power 3MW)
• Reciprocating gas compressors according to API 618 specification for distillation &
reformer unit .
• Positive displacement pumps according to API 674 & 675 for reciprocating pumps API
675 for controlled volume pumps and api 676 for rotary pumps.
• Centrifugal compressor air package according to API 672 ( capacity 1600 nm3/hr
day) , discharge pressure 11kg/cm2
